Project OPEN Training

Entrepreneur Training is available through KSBDC and FastTrac® courses. These fee based courses focus on best business practices and business plan development. The course fees may be partially reimbursable upon satisfactory completion. Satisfactory completion of one of these educational tracks is highly recommended for start-up entrepreneurs before applying for Business Development Services and/or funding. Individual consultation may NOT be available without completion of one of the following:

FASTTRAC®

FastTrac® is a practical, hands-on business development program designed to help entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to create, manage and grow successful businesses. FastTrac® is America’s leading entrepreneurial learning program and remains on the cutting edge by providing programs  that are written by entrepreneurs, facilitated by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. FastTrac® is a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the world's largest foundation devoted to entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs should expect to spend 25-30 hours in facilitated discussion sessions with professionals, successful entrepreneurs and business coaches. An additional 25-30 hours independent work will help ensure successful completion of FastTrac®.
